    Consistently delicious, great service and the beer is cold.

    Value is good unlike all the other places in this town.

    Wow ,
    Went to a lot of restaurants in corpus,
    This one was the best
    Big portions ,
    Fast service and your paying the same price as you would any other restaurant .
    Go here , skip the wait everything here is good
    My entire family agrees this is the best and we will be coming back

    One of the best places to eat in Portland! The chicken fried steak is amazing! They have a 4 oz or and 8 oz. the 4 oz was plenty for me. It's a lot of food. The tools and cinnamon butter is a staple. Not to mention the sweet tea. On any given day they have an assortment of cheesecakes. The bar is well stocked and plenty of TVs  to watch. Also there is a back room if you have a party or conference. And everyone is so nice. It's great to see familiar faces like Steven F and his sis. This is my place when I'm in town. Lots to choose from even if I only ever choose chicken fried steak!

    Walked in for dinner and nice atmosphere with friendly host.  Ordered a salad as one of my sides, not bad, ok.  Ordered anew York strip with grilled shrimp.  Steak was ok, grilled shrimp were very good, veggies were frozen.  For the price this is a decent place.

    Good service. Went on Mother's Day and the service was amazing. The food was really great. Loved the calamari and the steaks were cooked they way my family liked. Vodka pasta was very good. Instead of chicken and shrimp I added double shrimp.
